Another early final this morning, so I didn't get my run in until this evening after work.

It was GREAT today!  I've been wondering when the next good one was going to happen.

This was my Wednesday speed workout, and it was a toughie.

6.7 for 10 min
repeat 2X: 7.1 for 10 min; 6.7 for 2 min
6.7 for 5 min

total run miles: 4.42

I had an awesome workout today. I easily did the week 2 Couch to 5K tape and my heart rate didn't spike scarily high once. I'm very psyched!

6.2 Mile Run 58:14 ( I wanted to try to mimic my marathon pace for Sunday) That was a solid pace and one I should be able to maintain for the entire marathon. This should bring me home in just over 4 hours! We will see....

Then I swam 800 meters in 14:02. Nice and easy, felt real good afterwards. I hope you all are well and I will be taking Thursday off to rest, and may do a brief 2 mile jog tomorrow followed by a long soak in the Jacuzzi! Take care.

Did a one-hour spin class through Alpine France (at least that was the video being shown).  Today is a rest day because Sunday is a long (18-mile) run.  I can't wait.
