Monday Workouts & 2 Personal Records To Boot!!!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

    I hope you are all well. Let's hear what you guys did today. I had a stellar night at the gym tonight. I didn't want to do too much because of the marathon coming on Sunday, so I set out for a fast 5k on treadmill and a 2000 meter swim.... I Set my PR on both.... 5k 23:52 (Started at 7.6mph, 2nd mile 7.8mph, 3rd 8mph, last .20 @ 9.5mph. On the swim I did 2000meters in 33:22... If I kept that pace at my Full IM's next year that's under 1:07:00 for 2.4 miles... That would be awesome!!

Anyways, anxious to hear what you guys did today, take care....

45 minutes swimming and 1hr. cycling class, strength ride and my legs are feeling it today.

Mine was a 1-hr kinda slower recovery run.  I did kind of a ladder with bursts built in.

6.5 9 min, 7.0 1 min; 6.6 9 min, 7.1 1 min; 6.7 9 min 7.2 1 min (2X); 6.6 9 min, 7.1 1 min (2X).  Total miles: 6.7.  Not terribly fast, but good to do the Monday run.
