Thanksgiving is over, leftovers are gone, Monday workouts
This morning was a recovery run for me. 3.1 miles on dreadmill in 26:04. Also I did some tricept work with pulldowns, extensions and straight arm pull backs.
I will be going back to the gym tonight to swim 3000 meters...
Continued.... I went back to gym and swam 3500 meters.... Finished 2 miles in 54 minutes (PR) and finished up with drills.

Way to go Dan! I only got 2 miles in today, but ran at around 90% of my heart rate. It's been a while since I've worried about speed (since I thought I wasn't gonna get in a 5K) and did that in 17:30. Hoping to do this 5K around 26:30 or so -- I have grand illusions of doing it around 26 or less, lol.
Seth, god bless you on that treadmill. I just have never gotten used to using them, get me outside (even if it's snowing up here in Michigan)

Yeah I hate the treadmill too, I just have never gotten into running outside.
Unfortunately it's dark before I go to work, and after I get off work, so it's the gym for me.
I have to put some incline on the treadmill to increase the difficulty, makes it a little more like running outside, but it still doesn't compare.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
I hit the gym before work today. I was planning to bump up my running ratio, but could only eek out 10 minutes of running out of the 35 minutes I spent on the treadmill before my hip started to object So, I finished my workout with a low-impact 25 minutes on the elliptical.
D@%$ hip!

I think I am the only person who can't do the eliptical, I don't have any injuries, but it just feels weird, and makes my hips feel like something isn't right.
I wish I could use that machine, it would be a nice change of pace.
Good luck with your hip, I hope you see some rapid recovery.

30 min. on treadmill. Week II of Couch-to-5K is actually starting to be easy for me. I thought I'd never get off week 2 at one point!
