Hi Everyone!!  I'll get this one started.  Did a 3 mile run with my running group.  It was COLD!!!  I was trying out some new gear this morning - got new shoes last night.  They rubbed a little on my heel - not a blister, but a definite rub spot.  I am not quite sure what to do about that.  I think I am going to try them again tomorrow with a different pair of socks, then decide if I should exchange them.

So, what's everyone else up to today??

Alot of people put vaseline on the tips of their toes and back of ankle where shoe rubs, but higher socks will help I a sure.

Friday: 2000 Meter Swim & 6.2 Mile run in 52:50

Saturday: 6.5 mile run 58:00 (Feeling a little under the weather) Depending on how I feel, I might go to the gym later and swim a bit and spin for an hour. It's really cold outside!! Have a good one!

Yesterday I did a 40-minute run (4.5 mi).

Today's run was 8 miles at 'race pace.'  I did the first 6 at 6.8, 7th at 6.9, 8th at 7.0.  Also did a 2 min cool down jog.

For the first time in a while I actually felt like I could run much farther.  We'll see what next week's long run brings!

I did an 8 hour spinning workshop.  Now just an online test to tackle and I'll be certified.  Unfortunately, my back side feels bruised and my quads feel like lead.  The upside is I burned a ton of calories! ;-0)
