Saturday I have the LiveSTRONG 5K and on Sunday I have my bike ride (65 miles). My biggest cheerleaders are coming with me; my 4 year old daughter is excited to use her pom-poms for real!

Got some sad news, well, sad for me.  My trainer is leaving our gym -- and training for that matter.  He is joining the military.  It's been a dream for him so I'm glad. He's just helped me so much!  At some point I have to be on my own.  5 more sessions and we're through.  It's like breaking-up!  :(

Went for 20 mile ride this afternoon on a pretty hilly run, average 19.6 MPH, then ran 5k in 27:37. Hope all is well with everyone!!!

I started a new running program - it was great. I think I finally found a group that is at the right level for me. We did a fast mile - I finished it in 9:10 and then 400 yard repeats. My dh also started a running program last night with the beginner group - so I am really excited about that. I hope he likes it and his knee (which he has had problems with) holds up.
