Bowflex Anyone?

Our friends just recently had their first child.  When they converted their spare bedroom to a nursery, they had to move the bowflex to his workshop.  They're eventually going to build another room but, in the meantime, they brought the bowflex to me to use.  I am so excited.  I've been going to the gym and have kinda gotten burned out with the same ole' routine.  I know this machine worked great for our friend (when he was using it).  He lost weigt and really defined his muscles.  Is there anyone out there that has used a bowflex?  If so, what was your experience like?
