Okay all you weekend warriors, what was on the docket for today?

Mine was a long run day.  8 miles in 70:10!  I was afraid the treadmill would turn off on me at 75, so I sped up for the last 10 minutes.  As it turned out I didn't need to, but it was cool anyway.  Also... no trips to the potty!  All in all, a very good run today.

Thanks Linn,

I can't tell you how excited I am about this Tri!!! Today is my 8 Month Post-Op Surgiversary, am down from 400 pounds to 231 and am excited about becoming a triathlete! My goal is by the end of next year to complete a Full Iron Man distance tri! It's a long road, but I figure if I keep training and pressing forward as I have, I should be able to do a full next year. Wish me luck and have a good one!!

That's awesome Linn!!

I slept late, then went out for a run at 10am.  It was really hot, and I pooped out after 3 miles (I was going for 5).  Had to walk the rest of the way home.  Oh well - should have gotten my ass out of bed earlier - LOL!!

Don't kick yourself too much, Elisa.  Sometimes things happen and you just go with it.  You got up and gave it a go, which the best we can do ANY day.  Sounds like you're feeling better, though.  Glad to hear it.
