breathing pain in am

I guess I am just a complainer. I am having so much pain this morning  when I breathe. I  am breathing ok ok but if I try to take a deep breathe I have such painon left side and upper lung area. Some one tell me if this is somethng they experienced in their first week post op. I am a worry wort

Amy - Have you been using your spirometer several times a day?  Please do!  I came down with double pneumonia the week after my surgery, i know it hurts to breathe due to the surgery.  If you have any fears, ABSOLUTELY call the doctor.  I hope you are feeling better soon! lys
