I have been reading that some people are getting tired of the hour running on the treadmill or stationary bike routine.  Study show that HIIT training give you the same benefit of an hour of  normal running in 20 minutes.  So if you are pressed for time or need to add some excitment to your workout, give it a try.

It tuff but I love the results too.  Witht ehcombined warmup, cool down, and walk/jog/sprint routine I do in my HIITs, it still takes me about an hour to do the whole workout, but its definitely a different workout and I feel it accelerates my speed and endurance.  When I work out regular, I do it once or sometimes twice a week. Definitely followed by an EZ (to work out the soreness and/tenderness) or a rest day.  I like the advice there Garion.
