I use a Garmin for running and cycling.  I don't worry too much anymore about pulse anymore, since i can guage when I am between 130-160 but it is great for helping with pace.  Sort of feel lost without it.  It also has a built-in GPS so it gives an accurate distance and cadence.  I also have a Polar somewhere, but I don't use it much anymore.

I use the polar....in triathlon it's one of the few you can wear in the water.

I have a polar bike computer.
