I asked this on the board I most frequent and they suggested asking here too. I find that fast and motivating music helps me to keep going, so give me some ideas and recommendations for some music to load into my ipod.

I like a lot of rock, hard rock, some hip hop, some upbeat fun country. I think a little bit of everything is good.

Hi,

What a great question. When I am running I love these tunes in my IPOD. Their beat matches well to my pace of running on the treadmill.

Chris Rea: "The Road to Hell", "Auberge", "Let's Dance"
Kelly Clarkson: "Breakaway", "Miss Independent", "Beautiful Disaster"
Chris Daughtry: "Crashed"

I love my IPOD!

I have carefully selected peppy tunes from Bille Joel, the Cars, John Fogerty, Eagles, ZZ Top, Evanesence, Martina McBride (Happy Girl is a real upbeat tune), Bachman Turner Overdrive, and some assorted others like "I Like to Move It Move It!"  Am I showing my age???
