Congrats Sherry on your finish at IMLP!

Did you stay around the finish line until midnight?   It was heartbreaking to watch that one guy cross over at midnight plus FIVE seconds.   Mike Reilly announced something to the effect of "You know in all our hearts you are an Ironman." but he wouldn't (and I guess couldn't) announce his standard, " YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!".  DNF or DQ for him I guess.   I knew they were brutal at the cutoff times on the swim and bike but I never stayed up late enough to watch the finish line until midnight. 

Congrats again Sherry!   Great accomplishment to now have 2 of the big ones under your belt.   I'm volunteering at IMFL this year so I can get in next year.  If you are doing Florida this year I'm looking forward to meeting you.

I just now checked your splits, and I can't yet imagine what it would be like.  Maybe in a year or so when I can swim that far...
