NYC ideas

Hello gang,

Thought I'd post this question on here to see what you fine folks come up with.

I will be in NYC (well the subburbs) for the week of August 24th while the wife and daughter attend a days of the US Open. Any exercise things that I should do while the family is off doing the tennis thing?

I was thinking jogging in Central Park, biking some of the hilly parts of NJ. Any other ideas?

ALL ideas appreciated. Please post here or PM me.

Thanks

Curt

My, my, aren't you ambitious???  Well, instead you could drop them off and fly out to Oregon to do a race with me!  Haha!  --D

Ah, come on!  We have decent pizza here!  Besides, you'd be in better company HERE than you would be there!

Decent Pizza? But nothing beats true NYC Pizza by the slice.

Plus, there are some great people in the NYC area as well.. haha

I bring my running shoes anywhere I go.  there is nothing better than exploring a new area.  I have only been to central park once for the men's marathon trials but I get jealous of the people who get to run there a lot when I see them on the YES network.  I'd also just run around the city.  There is no better way to get your bearings (or get lost).  I ran around D.c. this spring and it was my best run ever.

Scott,

Well come into the city one day during the week, and we could run together. Heck, I'd even buy a beer afterwards...

How far are you from NY?
