I've been doing road races since March and while I don't get teary at the finish, I know so well that feeling of accomplishment you've discovered.  For such a long time, running was a dream of mine, and now it's come true.  I'm so happy to hear about your achievement.........so keep up the good work!

Congratulations!  I couldn't wait to read how you did. Thanks for sharing your story and triumph with all of us. The pics are great! Oh, I wanted to correct myself from my last post - I aspire to run a 5k, 10k.... not a marathon. Well, maybe eventually, but being new to this stuff, I am not quite up on all the runners lingo! haha.  Great job!
