I did a crappy 27 min run this morning.  Did not get enough sleep last night and I had a late start.  I walked during a few of my running intervals.  Surprisingly enough, I averaged a 13 min mile!    I coughed alot during the run (a had a puff of asthma inhaler before the run).  I may have to call my dr.  to see what about the coughing.

Without struggle, there is no progress.

I rode 10 miles today!  I could have gone farther but I'm still breaking in my backside.

Great job Scott!  Now, you're really raising the bar on me again.   My fastest sustained pace is an average 9:11 for five miles - and I puked at the end.  Guess I'm going to have to kick it up a notch if I'm going to keep up with you. My partner and I did incremental intervals on the treadmill today for 45 minutes, maxing out at an 8:42 pace.  Cassie

I am on vacation at the OBX, at Buxton, NC. just around the corner from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. I walked .5 miles and ran 5 miles in 49:00,  on the access road to the lighthouse. pan head
