Thursday workout
This morning I was up about two hours after the crack of dawn to do a "speed"workout.
My goal was a mile times six at 8:30 pace.
.6 warm up

.4 cool down with .15 recovery walks
7.75 total.

I did a crappy 27 min run this morning. Did not get enough sleep last night and I had a late start. I walked during a few of my running intervals. Surprisingly enough, I averaged a 13 min mile! I coughed alot during the run (a had a puff of asthma inhaler before the run). I may have to call my dr. to see what about the coughing.
Without struggle, there is no progress.
Great job Scott! Now, you're really raising the bar on me again.
My fastest sustained pace is an average 9:11 for five miles - and I puked at the end. Guess I'm going to have to kick it up a notch if I'm going to keep up with you.
My partner and I did incremental intervals on the treadmill today for 45 minutes, maxing out at an 8:42 pace.
