Philadelphia Half Marathon

Anyone doing the Philadelphia Half Marathon this year?  I just signed up this weekend.  The race is 9/21 and my bday is 9/20 so my husband is taking me to Philadelphia to do the race for my bday.  Who'd ever think I'd be happy about going away to do a half marathon for my bday?!?  But it is becoming a tradition; last year I was in Dublin, Ireland for the half marathon and my bday.

I had thought about it but there is a half right near my home in Southeastern, CT on the same day.  I am going to do that one and the Leaf Peepers 1/2 in Vermont in October.

What a great gift idea.  Sure it different now than before surgery, isn't it.  My usual gift was a big dinner out.
