Walked a 5k at the local park with a friend.  Jogged in a few places, but mostly walked.

Day of rest for me.  Just a bit of leisurely walking with my kiddo.

I was wondering why you were doing such short distances at those speeds.  Now it makes sense! I managed 8 miles today.  73 minutes.  They were a tough 8 miles!  I can tell I haven't had much feet time lately because the dogs are barking. Now it's time for a nice spinach salad... Linn

Usually my speed work is mile repeats but I ran this race last year and loved it.  I had to take the day off this year but it will be worth it.  I just want to improve over my 6:33.

Ran the 5-mile Summer Sizzle road race at an average pace of 9:11 - a PR.    The first two miles, I averaged 8:22 before I realized that I'd better slow down.   As I rounded the corner for the final few yards towards the finish, I felt a sudden uncontrollable urge to throw-up.  I pulled over, tossed my cookies and resumed the race. . . crossed the finish line and regurgitated the rest of the water I had drank on the course. Such a graceful finish . . . Cassie

Great job, Cassie! By the way, that's exactly why I don't drink when I run! Linn

I planned to go for a run this morning, but I just couldn't get out of bed.  I walked about an hour around the city and had a one hour dance lesson.

I'm on my recovery week and ran the slowest 6 mile training run in about a year. That wasn't on purpose either. Don't know why I did such a crappy job. I did the same route as my sweat test from thursday...and managed to finish an AMAZING 14:30 slower... Yesterday my brick was fast...dunno-everyone has their bad days...

10 mile bike ride for me.  Then went and floated around the pool with my son.  The pool wasn't exercise, I was playing flotation device for my 5 y/o. Scott
