Thursdays Workout

I ran 2 miles this morning.  The iron pills have really helped out.  Before I left out of the house, I had little motivation, but once I got started, my run felt really good. My run was almost effortless.  I think by next week, I should increase the running segment by 10 secs for a full minute. Kim

Started today with 4-5 mile mike ride into work, had a little detour that added an unknown distance to my normal ride.  Will hit the gym after work for a 3 mile walk/run combo on the treadmill. then a 4 mile ride back home.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Not a darn thing here... I am taking a well deserved day off.. My heel is starting to bother me again..

It doesnt stop me from training, but I am just trying to listen to it, and rest it when it flares up. I have some big races coming up, and would hate to miss them because I didnt listen to my body (Heel).. I will be back at it tomorrow...

Closing in on the end of recovery week.  I did a 50-min spin class today followed by 20 min of upper body strength training. Yesterday I also signed up for a local half marathon July 13.  I shouldn't have too much trouble getting ready, though.  I may take Saturday off and try for a long run on Sunday.  This race is kind of a big deal here and is a certified course so I think there will be some coming to try to qualify for Boston.  Should be a fun race.   Linn
