Wednesday Workout

I did my hill repeat on the treadmill. Walked for 400m at 6% grade then stepped it up to 5.5 mph for the first 400m and up to 6 mph for 800m. Backed it down to 5.5 and 0% grade for 400m, then back to 6% and 6 mph for 800m, back down to 5.5 and 0% for 400m and then back up to 6% and 6.5 for 400m. Back down to 0% and 5.5 for 400m and then finished off the running with 800m at 7 mph 0% grade, then slowly worked my way down to a walk for 400m.  pan head

I ran 2 miles and walked 1 mile.  It was my first attempt at running since the half marathon and it actually felt pretty good!  My groin muscle started to become noticeable around mile 2 so I slowed to a walk.  But it was good!  --Deanna  :)

Wednesday:45 minutes of weights, followed by a 1 mile jog and a 10 minute bike ride for my cool down. Then 10 lovely minutes in the dry sauna.  I like to stretch in there, everything is nice and warm and relaxed.  It has really helped eliminate that sore feeling in the muscles. Thursday: Started today with 4-5 mile mike ride into work.  Will hit the gym after work for a 3 mile walk/run combo on the treadmill. then a 4 mile ride back home.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Wow! Y'all SHAME me! I thought I was doing well to get up @ 5AM and get in 30 min of yoga and strength training before getting my kid up and starting my day....
