Wednesday workout

Thanks Earl.  Ya know that I have tried overhead squats and I have to say that they are crazy.  How anyone does their weight is beyond me.  Of course, I have had back problems since I was about 15 years old so that doesn't help.

Yeah, you pretty much have to start with a broom stick or empty bar for awhile. Even that really gets all those muscles you never knew you had. They really build up the shoulder girdle area, lower back and abs, not to mention the legs and flexiblity. I suck at them...but they do work. Here's a good site a friend of my runs for older throwers. It got me started in throwing and overhead squats. If I didn't have the hernia issues still I'd be doing the Romanian Deadlifts more too. http://danjohn.org/getup.html

I went to the gym and ran 3 miles!  And I felt so much better!  I guess that day of rest on Tuesday did wonders! --Deanna  :)
