Saturday workout
Yippee! My recovery week is over and I was able to resume running today. About 2 p.m., I decided at the last minute to do a local 10K that I ran last year. It was hot and humid, but it sure did feel good to be back out on the road. I finished in 1:02.

I've never heard of a race starting that late in the day! Great job Cassie! My first run after the marathon I did was awful, but I didin't wait long enough.
I got up and did a spin class then got in the pool and swam 600 yd. I don't like swimming after anything else because I'm always so fatigued, but I managed to force myself into it anyway. I'm hoping I'll be able to do the 1/2 mile swim in the next week so I'll be ready for the next tri on June 15.
