I ran the Redhook Brewery 5K race - they have a great slogan - WILL RUN FOR BEER . Too funny.  My goal was to beat my previous time which I did EASILY I might add.  My pace was 11.13 which I am happy with.  Now I have to get into the 10 minute mile.  Thinking about a 10K in September but not sure - but it is something to work towards.  Thanks foryou who helped me out with my bad knees - the patella strap helped and I think the momentum of all the other racers helped too as my knees didn't hurt at all.   Beer was good after too!!

Congrats to you.  I love the slogan.  Doesn't beer tastes good after a run?
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Great Job!  It's nice to see the PR's get faster and faster.  I don't think you'll have any trouble doing a 10k in September.  You're well on your way!  Linn

Congrats on the great time!  Looks like the 10k should be very doable for you in Sept.
