Hi all,    Today our 10K training group did 5 miles!  It looked so long on the map, but overall I actually enjoyed it!!  I did take two 1 1/2 minute walk breaks but that was less then I thought I would do.  On the run I was thinking about the first night of training and how hard it was.  It was nice to actually enjoy it tonight!!  And...after the run I walked over to softball practice!  Who'd-a-thunk??

Hi - Yup, I'll be running the Red Hook 5K.  Last time I had alcohol (liquor) I passed out soon after (too much sugar).  So...I might pass on the beer.  But if everyone else is drinking beer, there should be plenty of water for me!

Hey, I see you are from Portsmouth - you running the Redhook Brewery 5K on the 25th?  Free Beer after!  LOL.   Nice job in running 5 miles - I havent' got to that distance, but if I can figure out this knee pain stuff I am striving for a 10K this year.  Maybe see you at some race here in NH.

That is wonderful.  Good luck on your race next week.  I can wait to hear the details. Kim
Without struggle, there is no progress.

That is great - congrats! Isn't it amazing to not only run, but to be able to be active afterwards. I did a 10k race today and then went for a dance lesson - it is amazing.
