5 miles!!
Hi all,
Today our 10K training group did 5 miles! It looked so long on the map, but overall I actually enjoyed it!! I did take two 1 1/2 minute walk breaks but that was less then I thought I would do. On the run I was thinking about the first night of training and how hard it was. It was nice to actually enjoy it tonight!! And...after the run I walked over to softball practice! Who'd-a-thunk??

Hi - Yup, I'll be running the Red Hook 5K. Last time I had alcohol (liquor) I passed out soon after (too much sugar). So...I might pass on the beer. But if everyone else is drinking beer, there should be plenty of water for me!

That is great - congrats! Isn't it amazing to not only run, but to be able to be active afterwards. I did a 10k race today and then went for a dance lesson - it is amazing.
