Great report, Chad. I think I'm going to go home and take a nap after reading your report.  It tired me out.  Look forward to reading your next exploit. Rob

Amazing!  I really want to do a triathlon but I'm so scared!  I don't do any of the three events well! lol Susan

Heh heh.  Neither do I and neither do most of the athletes running the races.  It's not about how well you are at any of the events it it's how much fun you have doing the race.   :)

Way to go Chad.  Seems like tri's are big down there.  I might be able to find a few a year here within driving distance.  Of course it's still in the 30's at night here.  Congrats.

I use trifind.com and the USAT search to find races.   There are a bunch up north too.   I think the closer we are to summer the more they open up in the New England area.   Hyannis has some triathlons too because I remember the Hoyt's talking about them in their book.

This is just CT but I'm sure that they have more all over New England.  http://www.trifind.com/ct.html

Great job!  You are making to start thinking about looking into swimming lessons - I haven't done it yet, but I am thinking about it.
