Friday Workout
Today was so so. I have a head cold so I walk/ran 4 miles and did one exercise for the chest, tris and shoulders.
Tomorrow is a 1/4 marathon and I am still not sure if I will do it or not.

I warmed up with the 4 laps then I ran 2 laps to every one lap walked! I ended up running 27 laps and walking 15 for a grand total of 46 laps all together! That is like 2.7 miles running! 1.9 miles walking! Average heart rate was 163 and max heart rate was 185. I am improving! I think I will do todays work out on M-W-F for the next week or two then I might try and run 3 laps to every lap walking. Eventually I will be only walking during warm up and cool down! But I do have to admit, some of todays running laps were a little slow, my legs were getting SO tired.

Hi all,
I'm Marilyn & new to this forum. Thought I'd post today.
As of March 24th I am 571.8lbs. Disappointedly up from 560lbs on February 4th 2008. I joined the YMCA on March 4th after recovering from pneumonia.
Today my workout consisted of:
4/4/2008 Stair Climbing TRS 4000 Stepper 6010 steps 820 cals 30:73 mins
4/4/2008 Stair Climbing TRS 4000 Stepper 10 000 steps 1382 cals 51:77 mins
4/4/2008 Stair Climbing TRS 4000 Stepper 10 000 steps 1238 cals 46:38 mins
