I need advice

I am about 2 hours from GR.  I actually used to live off the Ann St exit.  I have a friend that lives in Howard City, which isn't too far away.  Just looking for some other events so I have goals.  There is a 5K in Midland in June, but I have my sister's baby shower that day and don't think she would appreciate me missing it to run.  Thanks for the info.
