kelvin - congrats & welcome to the club!
Thanks Chad!!
I can't say I had a great day out there!! It was more of a indurance of pain!! But I made it!! I'll post my long report soon!! I finished 7:43!! Not the time I had hope but I'm happy I was able to finish!! I think one of the many mistakes I made was running at the wrong pace times.. On my long runs we done 1 minute run 2 walk.. On our shorter runs(8-12 miles) we did 2 and 2!!! Marathon day my group decide to do a 2 and 2.. I was ok the first 11 miles but about 13 miles.. I was done!! Legs were cramping up, feet were burning and pain shooting up the middle of my body.. All I could do it just keep my feet moving!! So most of the next 13.2 miles was of me walking.
Thanks everyone for all you kind words. Now I'm going to take some time off to relax. Then decide if I'm going to try and improve my marathon time or just stick to doing 1/2 marathons!!

Man screw the time! You made it to and crossed the finish line and that's all that matters. Just like that old dude said in the Spirit of the Marathon movie you were in the footsteps of the elites. They crossed the line and endured the 26.2 just like you. Be proud of yourself because you accomplished something yesterday that many only dream about.
Congrats!
Chad
Did the marathon guys get your name wrong? They listed it as Kelvin an I was about to appologize for calling you Kevin. Now I see your name on here as Kevin. I'm confused! :)
Thanks Chad!! It was fun to watch the race on t.v. once I got home!! Amazing to know I was running with elite runners!!
Oh!! My name is Kelvin but my mom and family call me Kevin?? Because its easier to say?? So you can call me Kelvin or Kevin.. It all good!!
