RMR - Calculated vs tested (x-post)
I had my RMR tested by New Leaf in May 2007; it tested at just over 2000. My calculated RMR at that time was around 1700. For folks that are heavy exercisers, our actual RMRs are often higher than our calculated RMRs.
Glad you found someplace locally where you can get tested! Knowing a number was helpful for me in modifying my daily food plan. I really should get tested again to see where I'm at now -
