Well, it looks like I'll have to wait until 2010 to earn my Goofy medal. Registration for Disney's Goofy Challenge is already closed. I'll know next year not to hesitate - just book it and then talk my husband into it. The Disney half marathon is already at 75% capacity. It sure does fill up quick. Cassie

The goofy filled up about a week ago. Once it got to 75% it stalled for a week or so and once it got close, it closed out quickly. If you really want to do it, there are some tour groups that have them available. Are you in for either of the other races?

I think I'm just going to go ahead and schedule my plastics for December and then I'll be ready to run the Goofy in 2010. How about you? Are you running Disney in '09? I have my regular Disney vacation already booked for the end of August, so that'll tide me over for now. I've got to adjust my running schedule, though. Right now an 18-miler falls during my trip and I don't see myself running that kind of distance in Florida's summer heat. Cassie

I am doing the Goofy next year. It's all about the shirts. Their Tech shirts are awesome! I think I am going to schedule my plastics after that race. That way, I won't miss running season and can be ready for the spring. You wouldn't catch me doing a 18 miler in Fl in August. No way.
