And of course, there was the marathon in November.  I had a couple of lay-offs in training due to surgery this past year.  One in January and the other in June.  What is amazing to me is that this exercise thing seems to be sticking with me.  My first question for the surgeon is "When can I start running again?"  I find that exercise make me feel better both mentally and physically.  I'm looking forward to see what next year brings. Mary PS - editied to add that I did the Dublin Half-Marathon in September!  What does it mean when I leave a half-marthon off my year-end recap...LOL....

Hey Mary, Great job this year!  It sure is fun to see all of us taking such a huge advantage of this new tool that we have been given.  Your distances and times are amazing!  I look forward to reading your exploits in 2008.  Happy holidays! Rob

That's fun Mary. Ready for the next challenges. It is odd to wonder when you can run again after a layoff. After so many years of not being able to now they can't hold you back any longer. Congrats!
