Does anyone have any idea?

Everytime I use the Elliptical machine after about 15 minutes, my feet start falling asleep.  After being on 30 minutes today I sat down in the floor to stretch and my feet were like pins and needles.  I could feel circulation begin again.  Why? and do I need to be concerned? Thanks for any ideas you might have, Beth

I don't have anything to contribute except to say that my feet do the same thing so it must be common.  I try to flex my feet while I'm working on the elliptical to keep them from falling asleep and that does help.  I'm guessing that because on the elliptical our feet don't do that normal walking thing of heel down first, then toes, the constant pressure is what cuts off the circulation.  I'll be interested to see what others think/suggest.  I still think the elliptical is a better workout than walking so I put up with the numb feet. Blessings,
Linda Lou
