best equipment

Hi, I am new to this forum.  I wanted to get some opinions on the best treadmill and elliptical to purchase for in home use.  I am looking for something that is durable as my husband and I will both be using these on a daily basis.  So for those of you who are running on the treadmill, what have you found that lasts?  As for the elliptical, I am not sure exactly what I am looking for in it--just want to make sure if I put out the money for it that its going to last??  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks, Beth

I don't know about your money situation but I would think about some professional gym quality stuff IF you are going to really use it every day.  I think that a really good treadmill is in the 4K range.  I have a treadmill that was purchased at Sears.  It was a good one and one of the more expensive ones there.  The belt has been replaced once and still works alright 5 or 6 years later.
