Wow, one week from today is the marathon.  Actually, one week from right now, it will all be over!  I can't believe it, all the planning and training and now the day is almost here.

Today I did the Poland Spring Marathon Kickoff in Central Park.  It was a perfect day for the race, I only hope the weather is similar next week.  The Poland Spring 5-Miler, used to be called the Computer Run. I found out that although the name of the race has changed, the reason for the race remains the same... so that the computers can be tested for the marathon finish! How exciting is that!  The finish line for this race was at the same place as the finish line for the marathon - it was really exciting to think about that as I was crossing the finish line today.

So, now I am seriously in countdown mode!

The count down is on.  Sorry I didn't get back to you about the trials.  I am not sure that I am going now but I will if I can.  I don't want to make a commitment and back out but I hope it will work out.  Good luck on Sunday.
