rest sore muscles or keep going?
hi guys...
i need some advice. i did my first ever yoga class on saturday (it kicked my booty) and then did another class on sunday (kicked my booty times ten) and now the muscles n the backs of my thighs are s-o-r-e. do i rest them for a few days or push through and keep working them? i don't want to hurt myself, but i do want to make progress...
I am not sure if there is a right answer or not. I think it's up to you. If it is just sore and there are no injuries, do what you want. It couldn't hurt to take a few days off. If you don't want to take the time off than get back at it. I don't think it will hurt you to get back in there.

My fitness coach at the gym told me if my muscles are sore, you can keep exercising but do a different form of exercise to cross train. That way you still are working out, but using your muscles in a different way. Maybe try walking or something to stretch those muscles back out!
