Sorry if this has already been discussed, but do you guys knw if using power plates just after surgery is ok? If you dont know, you stand on this 'plate' and the whole thing vibrates and tones you - 15 min workout is like 1 hr in gy, apparently. So, any of you have experience with this? how long after surgery should i wait? Thanks in advance Aniesa

Hi Aniesa Don't fall for all the gimmicks out there.  Exercise is just hard work.  Taking a walk will do you a lot more good than standing on a vibrating machine. Good luck Earl

While i don't see any medical issues with using Power or Vibration Plates after WLS, they really don't work for building strength and/or muscle tissue. There are other possible uses for them but unless you are an elite athlete don't waste your time with them.
