Hello Im interested in training for a half marathon. I was wondering if anyone out there has any training suggestions, or if they can reccomend some websites on this topic. Thanks

Cool running has a 5k program, it might be a good way to get started - here is the link. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml I thought the book "No Need for Speed" by John Bingham.  It is a very motivational book. Let me know if you have any other questions. Mary

I have run a few and it was just sort of a natural progression from walking to jogging to going a little farther and faster until I got to a marathon.  The couch to 5K program is a great way to start.  I use the Galloway method named after Jeff Galloway.  It incorperates walk breaks to allow someone to go farther and recover faster.  You can look him up too.
