Can anyone tell me a little about Green Tea extract? Have you used it and what are some of the benifits? Is it safe to use? I have read a lot on the internet, but would like to hear first hand the opinions from some of you who know first hand. A few friends I know who are weight lifters use it daily as part of their suppliments. They say it helps with the metabolism of body fat. They are not WLS patients either. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you. Michael

well i know this- their are many great anti-oxidant properties- however if you are trying to be careful of caffeine you  might want to be careful- check out yerba mate- it is a caffeine free  south american tea with many of the same benefits

i'm a weight trainer and marathoner.  I take Green Tea capsules on ocassion when I need a "pick me up".  I have no problems with caffeine and use it sometimes during a long workout.  It doesn't affect my stomach at all.  For more information, try nutritionexpress.com
