You didn't give a lot of info and you're profile doesn't show much. I'd stay with walking the first 2 or 3 months, just try to increase your time (up to 45 minutes to a hour) and intensity (speed). I think depending on any time restrictions, walking 2 times a day for 45 minutes to an hour will work miracles the first 3 months.
You're living on starvation level calories the first few months. Most people have energy dumps during that time, so don't over do it.
I don't recommend abs stuff at all the first 3 months, like crunches, unless you absolutely want a hernia.
