MINI TRAMPOLINE FOR EXERCISE?? DO YOU??
Hiya folks....I'm pre-op...with back problems...was wondering if anyone uses a mini trampoline.....I was interested in the one with the dvd workout...I think it would kind of work like shocks on a car for my back don't ya think??? The ad said it holds up to 300 lbs and I am under that .... so please tell me anything you can about it.... have you tried it?? Would you try it??? What do you think?? I absolutely want to get an eliptical trainer, but it is not in the budget right now.....
WE ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH NOT TO SEE THROUGH EACH OTHER...BUT TO SEE EACH OTHER THROUGH
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one
hand, mudslide in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming ! HOT DAMN.....WHAT A RIDE!!
BECOME THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
welll....I have tried those things, and just be careful. What's bad about them for me is they can feel very unstable (I'm no lightweight either).
Go very slowly and maybe it will be okay. I'd also have a table nearby or soemthing to hang on to. Maybe I'm just uncoordinated, but those weird variable moves can toss your back out pretty quickly.
Hopefully you can try one before buying it.
The elliptical is a great choioce. i tend to have low back issues too and those things feel great. Can you get a bike? that is not so hard on the back.
I wouldnt think that would be the best exercise you can do. when you are it it requires you use a lot of back muscles to maintain your balance. I would think that could hurt you in the end. Just my opinion. I would think about trying something like isometrics. it is strenght training using tightening of your muscles until your back gets a little stronger. you might want to try and elliptical machine as well.. it is pretty low impact and doesnt put a lot of pressure on your knees and back. good luck
