Burnout?

Hi, I need help with my exercise routine. This week I have been taking aerobics classes every day. I have really been working hard in these classes. I have also done yoga twice and water aerobics twice. I am just worried that I am going to burn myself out and I was wandering if I could burn myself out, or if it is okay as long as I take saturday and/or Sunday off.  I also want to add some resistance training to my routine and I wanted to know if a body sculpting class is just as good as using the machines? Thank You, Jennifer

I don't think you will burn out, but that is up to you...I love your routine - way to shake it up!  Water aerobics are one of my faves.  Nice hard workout, but it feels fun. In my book (but I am rather compulsive), taking one day off is plenty.  Two is fine and will give you a mental and physical rest. I would vote for two days not consecutive, but this is up to you.  Body sculpting is going to be very much the same benefits as the machines.  More aerobic, i am sure, because most gyms teach you to rest more between sets on the machines.  You are doing great!!!!
