Hi Everyone, I have a question.  I am currently doing Leslie Sansome's Walk Away the Pounds - the 2 mile walk (with 3 lbs.dumbbells) for 4 days a week, and doing the 3 mile walk on Saturdays and Sundays.  How do I know when to upgrade to the 3 mile walk 5 to 6 days per week? Thanks in  advance. Kim

That's great, Kim!  I just starting using them again.  I work out with a trainer as well.   I think that , if you can do it, go for it!   Maybe mix it up with other exercise options on some days.

Karyn, Thanks for getting back to me.  I am thinking about incorporating either some yoga or Pilates or Tae Bo  and  strength training into my routine.  I purchased this awesome book called, "Fit + Female" by Geralyn B. Coopersmith. Depending on what the scale says tomorrow will help determine what I do for the forthcoming week.   Kim

I just rode a bike at the beach.  First time in 40 years!  It was so wonderful!  Did the 3 mile tape this am.  It's so great to be active!

You should upgrade to the 3 mile walk when you can do the 2 mile walk with "ease".  What i mean by ease is that your able to finish the work out consistantly.  At that point you should upgrade.   FYI, doing the same work out everyday will give you a decreasing value of return because it exercises the same mucle groups every single time.  Instead of doing the same video everyday, you should rotate your work out to include different exercise groups, or types of exercises.  Even varying the strength of the resistance bands that you use, or the weights would be a help.  Maybe on 1 or 2 days of the week you could do a video that works specific muscle groups (like buns of steel) or do something fun like Denise austins power yoga.  Hope this helps Scott
