~I need ideas 4 exercising my lower half~

i need ideas 4 working on my lower half...it seems like my butt and thighs r not keeping up with the top half of my body...i read that stairs r a good workout 4 ur butt and legs but i need something that i can do at home...please, please, please if u have n e ideas or something that has worked 4 u let me know..i really need 2 work on my butt and thighs!!!!!  i m open 4 just about n e thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're not going to like it but...Squats and Lunges are two things you do without weight that are killers for the thighs and butt. Body weight squats with just body weight are something you don't just want to do 12 reps and stop though. Do as many reps as you can. I used to do hundreds of reps of bodyweight squats at home before I went to bed as a high school kid and they helped me drop 100 pounds. They're killer on the the cardio too. Same for lunges. If you can do 50, don't stop at 12 when  you  are just using your body weight. Always try to add reps or decrease your rest between sets. Good luck Earl
