I am 1 year post-op, and down 103lbs, I'm 23 lbs from my personal goal. I have been exercising, almost exclusively cardio, since I was 6 weks post-op. I have gradually increased my activity to 40mins 6 days a week on the elliptical. I vary the program intensity every few days b/c I heard that doing the same activity for a period of time is not to ones benefit...something like your body can get use to that activity and its less effective? My question is I was considering getting a recumbent bike to use to vary my workouts. I have exercise tapes, and they just dont seem to get my heart rate up...since the bike is similar cardio activity, is it even worth my while to purchase one, or should I do something completely different for variety, and if so, do you have any ideas of what I should do? I have tried jogging and kickboxing, and to be honest, my panni is so large it makes that type of exericise diffifult, and painful. Thanks for your input Kelli
