how many calories my body needs to MAINTAIN my weight? Sorry if this has been asked and answered before (as I am sure it has). I know it can be trial and error, but I have also heard of some sort of metabolizism test a Dr can order. Any info is appriciated.

http://www.caloriecontrol.org/calcalcs.html I think that something like this is what you are looking for.  I have no clue if it is accurate or not but someone posted it on the Men's board a while back. Take care Scott

Our nutritionist and program at OSU use this to measure you metabolism...it's supposed to be fairly accurate. Cost about 40.00 a test. You would have to find someone in your area that has the machine. http://www.korr.com/applications/mrm.htm
