Dizziness/ blurred vision while exercising? Help!

Hello all -- I have been really good about exercising and generally do about 45-70 minutes of cardio 5 or 6 days a week. Well, last night I was walking on the treadmill to warm up and had been at it about 15 minutes when I started to feel kinda weird. I went and used the ladies' room, and then came back and started to use an elliptical, but I couldn't really see straight to program it! I felt dizzy and shaky, like low blood sugar but it hadn't been that long since I had eaten, maybe an hour.  This has only happened to me once before, after I had been jogging and really exerted myself. That wasn't the case last night. It was cold out (unusual for Louisiana!), and I was at a new gym --- maybe they have something weird in the air! =]   Any thoughts or ideas? BTW I gave up on the elliptical and tried walking again, when I still felt weird after a few minutes I just gave it up for the night. Judy 288/187/142ish

If this was a one time thing, I think you can probably chalk it up to a virus or something.  You could have had a sudden drop in hormones....anything.  Maybe something you ate.  Maybe something in the air (or lack of oxygen?) However, if it lingers, or happens again, then it is a warning signal that something may not be right, and you should see a doctor.  Have you checked your blood pressure recently?

There really are many things that it could have been caused by including blood sugar regardless of how long it had been since you had eaten.  As the previous poster said, if it is a one time thing you should be good to go. Jus****ch it and make sure it does not happen again or on a regular basis.  There are days I go to the gym and just feel light headed or sick to my stomach.....usually do to something I had eaten etc... Just be careful.
