Good luck  tomorrow Steve. Just get the walking in the first 4 to 6 weeks. Check with your surgeon. Don't worry about the lifting for awhile. Earl

Hey there.  I must agree with Earl about waiting a while.  I was a little too gung ho and have ended up with an incisonal hernia.  Due to the fact that you are itching to get on with your new life, I will say to start out with very low weight and many reps, prehaps 12-15 reps.  Consentrate on the main body parts like chest, back and arms.  Also, since you probably have strong legs from carrying around a lot of extra weight, work them hard to keep them strong.  Again, let your surgion determine how long to wait before you start but I would give it at least 8 weeks before you touch anything. ood luck my man!
