3 weeks out can I swim?

I am 3 wks post-op and would like to start swimming. Is there a certain amount of time before I can start?

Ask your surgeon. I was told I had to wait for the stitches to heal or about 2 weeks.

I had to wait until my incisions healed which took about 4 weeks.
