Weight Training and making the most of my valuable time
First...I luv you.
Just one more thing...there is no one perfect way to train. Everybody responds to training in different ways. There's even a mental aspect about training certain ways that you can't really predict. It's all trial and error. Even the world's best bodybuilders, powerlifter and Olympic lifters are always searching and trying new things. Change kills the inherit boredom of training too. Training is repetitive by nature so change is a good thing. Your body adapts to any training very quickly and that's what training is all about. Train, adapt, rest, grow, change, train, adapt, rest, grow...repeat.
( Change can be adding weight, more reps, less rest, supersets, different angles or equipment. The list is endless. )In no particular order...

Becki, I kept my cardio fun by doing different things. Once, I tried for the MS150 bike ride which is a 150 mile bike ride/fund raiser over a period of 2 days, I rode 100 miles a week for training for a couple months leading up to it. (We have a very nice 32 mile round trip bike path to the coast.) It took me HOURS to fini**** at first later, I was doing the ride in 2 hours (including a short pee break at 16 miles.) High reps or high weight depends on what you are trying to do with that part of your body. In hotels, I usually hit their gyms or go out for a run/walk. I try to inspire others to do things with me. This keeps me motivated and if I know I am going to meet someone, I show up.
Personally, I work below my waist, the the next above my waist. I work it until I feel it!
Good luck on sorting all this out!
