2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

Hi,
My name is Lacey I live in the Central Valley of California..I am 32 years old. I had RNY surgery January 10, 2012. My lowest of weight loss was weight at 154 or so in May of 2011. I have had tremendous burdens placed on my shoulders since then. (Actually all my life but this one nearly killed me) I have gradually gained 30 pounds. I am doing something wrong. I think I am eating to much protein. (and grazing on simple carbs a big no no) So if there is anyone who struggles with depression or had some traumatic event happen and was able to stay successful please message me. I need some friends to help me through this difficult time in my life and hopefully I can help you in some way too.
I used that app some a few months ago. It is very helpful. My username is GwendolynKay1. What have you done to lose the 11 pounds? That is great!! My daughter works for the YMCA so yesterday we joined the family membership. They have two indoor pools, walking track, workout room, gym, yoga classes, etc. I am excited to get started! I have thought about "resetting" my pouch...have you heard of doing that? You basically eat the same way we did right after surgery for a week or so. Start with liquids and gradually add solid food back.
I'm glad I found your PenPal post. I hope we can help each other get back on track!
Talk to you soon.
I had open RNY 10 years ago (04/03/02) and have gained back about 50 pounds (initially lost 120 pounds). I am trying to get motivated to get the weight back off and would really like a PenPal to help keep me accountable and who I can help as well! Hope to hear from you soon!
