Hello! I am new to this site, however I can admit I have been ghosting and reading things on here for some time, I recently had my first appointment with my surgeon for gastric bypass and he said I was a good candidate. I have begun losing weight thankfully without little effort but I'm losing speed and would like a friend along this journey. I'm 37, married. I have two boys aged 18 and 10 1/2. I live in Oklahoma City, OK and work as a Hospice LPN. I am currently back in school part time to obtain my RN.
I LOVE football (college and NFL) and basketball. I'm a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Giants and Detroit Pistons.

I would love to read from you your personal story about your journey to wls and everything after since you had it in 2003.
In a nut shell I had Gastric ByPass Surgery on a Monday, August 22nd 2011.
I fought for my Life for a yr and a half. I weighed 267lbs - 277lbs at time of surgery. Super fast i got down to 145lbs. That was bad because i looked like a skeleton.
I am healthier in many ways but struggling with my Nutrition and making exercise a priority.
I welcome any and all advice, tidbits and jokes and whatever serious or silly things you wish to share.
I will tell you more once you reply and we can keep corresponding to each other.

I had my surgery in 03 i started at 289 had complications and got up to 340 while in the hospital and I got down to 136. I did get back up to 160 but do to health problems and complications again got back to 130 but now having more complications I am down to 107 and I am trying to again weight.
